Application Development

Using both server-side and client-side technologies, we can deliver dynamic and rich applications to your users from the ground up. These applications can give a boost to the functionality of your web site and offer new features that would otherwise be infeasible with basic web pages.

To see exactly what we are talking about, take these two following applications as examples. If a web application is what you need, ask us for a quote.

MERP

The MERP calculator was developed around an already existing mathematical concept. Using JavaScript, it allows the user to not only calculate MERP values, but to also organize them logically based on job site and location. To obtain hard copies, the page can also be converted into a print-friendly format.

The benefit to having this calculator as a web application is that it can be viewed world-wide which is important for the on-the-go job it is design for. The inherent portability of web applications means that no special software, other than any typical web browser, has to be installed to use it.

An MP3 Player

Currently named as MyPlayer, it is an MP3 player that automatically picks up on MP3 links and loads them into a music player that seamlessly exists as a small tab on the side of the browser. You can see this music player in action at Premature Eargasm. Standard features are supported including a playlist and track seeking.

Having this music player on Premature Eargasm allows easy streaming of artist's music without leaving the web browser. Without the convenience of the in-browser streaming, many users may not opt to spend the time to download and listen to the music.
